We have made an important change to the uShip User Agreement. It is now uShip policy that members may not request payment from other members via instant cash transfer services (non-bank, point-to-point cash transfer services such as Western Union and Moneygram). This new term has been added to Section 18 (A).
Services such as these allow you to send money quickly and easily. However, what many people do not know is that when you send money through one of these services, not only can you not confirm who the person receiving the money is, but once you send it, you cannot get it back. Always use common sense guidelines when paying for any online transaction, and never send a cash transfer to someone you do not know.
If another member requests that you use one of these services to pay for your uShip transaction, please notify member support so that we may take appropriate action, which may include suspension of the users account.
