uShip Adds 'CarrierWatch Verified' to Help Carriers Build Trust with Customers

uShip has now begun carrier verification and monitoring through TransCore’s  CW-verified
CarrierWatch service.  The service verifies that the business, authority, licensure and insurance information listed on transporters’ uShip accounts is consistent with FMCSA records.  CarrierWatch also monitors whether a service provider's authority and insurance is active or inactive.

Once verified by CarrierWatch, transporters will see the “CarrierWatch Verified” badge on their profile to strengthen their reputation with potential and existing customers who may be considering accepting their bids.

Adding “CarrierWatch Verified” status to carriers’ uShip profiles is yet another way new and returning shipping customers can stay informed about which feedback-rated transporters they choose to work with when evaluating bids.  uShip empowers consumers in their research and "homework" process by combining multiple sources of information, such as customer reviews, feedback scores, transporter profiles, photos, professional backgrounds and links to government sites, all backed by uShip's ‘Ship with Confidence’ guarantee.  Facebook "Like" buttons have also just been added to carriers' profiles.

So what do transporters on uShip need to do to get “CarrierWatch Verified”?   They simply provide the required company information on their uShip profile, such as company name, company address, company phone number, along with their MC number (USDOT number optional).  uShip will send this information to CarrierWatch for verification – and covers the cost as a benefit to its service providers.

Once processed with CarrierWatch, transporters will then receive an email notification when they approved or declined.  For those approved, the "CarrierWatch Verified" badge will then appear on their profile shortly after.
