For the last 29 years, Inc. Magazine has put out its annual Inc. 500 Fastest-Growing Private Companies list — and today it released the 2010 edition. New to this year’s list, coming in at No. 378, is uShip. Naturally we’re thrilled to be a part of this prestigious pack, which was assembled based on revenue growth from 2006 to 2009. During this time, uShip saw 790% jump in revenue. Inc. 500 alumni include Microsoft, Zappos, Intuit, GoDaddy, Zipcar, Clif Bar, American Apparel, Oracle and many more, so we’re humbled to be a part.
Inc. does a nice job of creating break-out lists by geography and industry, so here’s how uShip ranks beyond the uber list:
- No. 8 of 13 Austin-based companies (uShip’s headquarters)
- No. 37 of 52 companies from Texas
- No. 7 of 8 companies in the Logistics and Transportation category
- No. 378 of 500 on the Inc. 500 List
Thanks to all our shipping customers and stalwart transporters for helping to make this happen, and congrats to the entire team at uShip!
