It’s week three of our “The Shipping Price is Right!” contest on Facebook!
How much did it cost to ship this Link-Belt Hydraulic Excavator from Morrilton, AR to Eighty Four, PA?
The answer is $3,614.
Here’s the shipment listing. Congrats to this week’s winner!
This shipment covered a distance of 927 miles. That’s a very long journey for an industrial machine that weighs 45,000 pounds and has an enormous footprint of over 30 feet long and 11 feet wide.
Like many of the heavy equipment tranpsort listings on uShip, the excavator was sold in a spectacular live, no-reserve, simultaneous online and in-the-flesh auction held by Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers. This lot sold in Morrilton, AR on June 3.
The transport was handled by freight forwarder Friend’s Express, LLC.

“2004 Pontiac Grand Prix” – Auto Transport from Florissant, MO to Palm Beach Gardens, FL
“uShip worked great for me! I’ve never shipped anything before and had no idea where to even start. I needed to get my son’s car to h him from St. Louis to Florida. A friend who’s a truck driver recommended this site to me. It was nice to get so many different prices, timelines, gave me a really good idea on how and who I should hire based on the responses. Great tool for shipping!”
